Melon is a summer season fruit with a high water content and a sweet taste. A serving of 100 gr. provides more than half of the recommended daily dose of vitamin C. It is excellent for cleansing and rehydrating. Its beta carotene content, which is converted into vitamin A, makes it an effective ally against cancer and heart disease.
